About Native African Cuisine and Grace Paul-Xavier

Who else would know it better than Grace Paul-Xavier who was born in West Africa, Nigeria and spent part of her adult life in Central Africa, (The Democratic Republic of Congo formerly known as Zaire, Kinshasa).

Grace’s Philosophy:
“To me each customer is a unique human being. I treat them like I would like to be treated. For this reason, each massage is a therapeutic mixture of passion and enthusiasm.”

Those who know "Grace", know that she is a woman of great strength and aspiration. A world traveler, Grace has ventured to many countries including Belgium, Switzerland, Ivory Coast, the Island of Dominica, St. Croix, Barbados and has now made her home in the U.S.A. in South Florida.
As a result of her exposure to numerous cultures, this dynamic woman speaks four languages including English, French, and the African dialects Lingala, and Ibibio.

Throughout her educational experience Grace has received high academic honors. She is a graduate of the Union Institute and University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Psychology.

A “people person”, Grace has excellent communication skills and has worked with a large range of people from young childrento the elderly. Grace graduated from Euro-Skill Therapeutic Training Center as a License Massage Therapist and Esthetician.

She is a board certified and holds a license in Therapeutic Massage Therapy from the State of Florida. The Founder of Eden Massage & Spa, Inc., Grace is professionally and successfully operating the clinic/spa with the utmost respect and admiration of her peers in the field for the last 14 years.

Grace Paul Xavier & CecilThis experience of experiencing people as unique individuals has given Grace the strength and encouragement to pursuing her childhood dream of creating beauty and nourishment of the body & soul through cooking.

Hailing from the exotic land of Africa, Grace came to United States to study Hospitality Management. Circumstances did not permit her then to accomplish that dream many years ago.
Despite many obstacles, Grace did not forget her greatest passion which is been in the kitchen. Beginning when she was just eight years old back in her hometown of Mbiokporo in Akwa Ibom, State of Nigeria, Grace remembers cooking for the first time in order to feed her younger siblings.

She feels a true calling to explore that part of her dream. Because of her knowledge of different cultures, she has decided to bring together African and Caribbean foods (which are very similar and which she grew up with and loves), and to share it with the world. Because Africa is quite expansive and is home to many different cultures and foods, Grace wants to make sure that this is accessible to every human being who wants to try something new and different.
